Valerie Pedersen was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wy, now lives in Denver, Co and has always loved photography. She graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. Then moved to Washington, D.C. and was the campaign photographer for President Bush and Vice President Cheney.  The next election she followed McCain-Palin campaign. She has also traveled to many places around the world to shoot documentaries. She is full of insightful stories and can make learning at her workshops a great time.
